FAQ

WHICH OF YOUR CLASSES IS BEST SUITED FOR ME?

If you are brand new to yoga we recommend starting with our Beginner Class. This way you can build up confidence in your own ability and find out what yoga means for you. If you have already attended a few classes and are familiar with some of the asanas (postures) we have a range of classes to test and grow your balance, stamina and strength.

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?

Yes, there is a large free car park less than 1 minute walk just off the roundabout on Caldwell Lane behind the shops.

CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE CLASS?

Yes we have private and group sessions available. Why not even do something a bit different a host a baby shower or hen yoga party? Contact us here to discuss your ideas or requirements.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT A WORKSHOP/ RETREAT?

Our workshops are an extension of classes, giving you longer to practice whilst truly in the flow and often more in depth than a regular class. Usually lasting 90 mins to 2 hours.

Our retreats are special days set out with a specific intention in mind. This could be a mum's escape, a relaxing treat or a mindful activity. Each is unique and has many benefits to offer.

WHERE IS THE STUDIO?

We are a nomadic yoga family with multiple locations, please check your booking for the most accurate information.

We are currently residence of The Yoga Loft Studio, next door to HotPod Yoga; head through the grey doors from the main street to the first floor and you will see our sign on the door in front of you.

Visit our 'contact' page here for a map and directions.

ARRIVING AT CLASS

What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in and not restrictive. A layer for savasana (relaxation) at the end of you don’t have blanket. There is no need to buy any special kit although generally maternity leggings are a good buy, I lived in mine!

What do I need to bring?
Water is a must as you are more prone to dehydration during pregnancy and if breastfeeding. Previously all equipment was provided but under new Covid19 guidance this is now very limited. If you have your own mat, (small) pillow and blanket please do bring this along.

For classes with babies, you are welcome to bring their favorite toy and a blanket for them to lie on.

Do you have any kit for sale/ hire?
If you do not have your own kit we can provide a rental kit as part of your membership. The cost is £10 (fully refundable at the end of your block). and includes mat, pillow and blanket. Blocks are available for additional £5. You can store this kit at the studio, or take it home, it will only be used by you.

Alternatively we can advise on kit to purchase and have access to discount from suppliers. Please let us know with as much notice so we can place orders in advance of class.
